Mille et cent ans de poésie française, Bernard Delvaille

Cette anthologie n'est certes pas toute récente, mais elle offre sans aucun doute le meilleur rapport qualité/quantité/prix possible. A disposer, évidemment dans la bilbiothèque de tout honnête homme. Du 9e siècle (un poème) à 1986, 300 poètes sont rassemblés là. De quoi passer de nombreuses heures en excellente compagnie. A offrir, à s'offrir, à feuilleter sans modération.

L'auteur
Bernard Delvaille est l’un des meilleurs connaisseurs de la poésie du passé et du présent, comme en témoignent ses anthologies : La Poésie symboliste, Mille et cent ans de poésie française. Il a publié de nombreux poèmes, de 1950 à 1980. Il est également l’auteur de récits autobiographiques, d’ouvrages critiques (sur Valéry Larbaud et Paul Morand, entre autres). Il a été journaliste à Combat et directeur de la collection «Poètes d’aujourd’hui» aux éditions Seghers. Il collabore régulièrement au Magazine littéraire et au cahier littéraire du Figaro. Il a, pendant dix ans, siégé à la commission «Poésie» au Centre national des lettres, a fait partie de l’Académie Mallarmé et des jurys des prix Apollinaire et Max Jacob. Il est président de l’Association internationale des amis de Valery Larbaud.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is totally off topic but I had to tell someone!

Alyosha turned pale with alarm; he rubbed her temples, kissed her hands and her lips. In two minutes she came to herself. The cab in which Alyosha had come was standing not far off; he called it. When she was in the cab Natasha clutched my hand frantically, and a hot tear scalded my fingers. The cab started. I stood a long while watching it. All my happiness was ruined from that moment, and my life was broken in half. I felt that poignantly. . . . I walked slowly back to my old friends. I did not know what to say to them, how I should go in to them. My thoughts were numb; my legs were giving way beneath me.
